The German Chapter of the ISMRM has awarded Stephan Orzada from our team with the third prize of the Gorter Award 2011 at the 14th annual meeting in Berlin. With the Gorter Award, the German Chapter honours the three best abstracts from young scientists in medicine and natural sciences working in the field of magnetic resonance imaging. Stephan Orzada has been honoured for his work "Time Interleaved Acquisition of Modes (TIAMO)" which allows abdominal imaging at 7 Tesla without signal dropouts.
