ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FROM ESSEN MAIN TRAIN STATION (HAUPTBAHNHOF)
- Take U-Bahn (subway) U11 toward Essen Karlsplatz to sixth stop "Essen Altenessen Bahnhof (Bh)",
- transfer to Bus 183 toward Essen Katenberger Markt, get off at sixth stop "Kokerei Zollverein" (Tor 3),
- continue on foot through Tor 3.

- Take Strassenbahn (Tram) 107 toward Gelsenkirchen Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) to ninth stop "Kapitelwiese",
- transfer to Bus 183 toward Essen Karlsplatz, get off at second stop "Kokerei Zollverein" (Tor 3),
- [alternatively you can walk directly from "Kapitelwiese" to "Kokerei Zollverein" (about 10 minutes)],
- continue on foot through Tor 3.
ARRIVING FROM OBERHAUSEN/DUISBURG (A42):
- Take the freeway A42 toward Dortmund and exit at Gelsenkirchen Hessler; turn left toward Essen-Katernberg,
- follow the thoroughfare for approx. 3 km, turn right onto Haldenstrasse after the railroad underpass,
- Haldenstrasse becomes Arendahls Wiese,
- after 0.5 km, turn right through Tor 3 of the Kokerei Zollverein.
ARRIVING FROM OBERHAUSEN/DUISBURG (A42):
- Take the freeway A42 toward Dortmund and exit at Gelsenkirchen Hessler; turn left toward Essen-Katernberg,
- follow the thoroughfare for approx. 3 km, turn right onto Haldenstrasse after the railroad underpass,
- Haldenstrasse becomes Arendahls Wiese,
- after 0.5 km, turn right through Tor 3 of the Kokerei Zollverein.
ARRIVING FROM GELSENKIRCHEN/MÜNSTER (A42):
- Take the freeway A42 toward Duisburg and exit at Gelsenkirchen Hessler; turn right toward Essen-Katernberg,
- follow the thoroughfare for approx. 3 km, turn right onto Haldenstrase after the railroad underpass,
- Haldenstrasse becomes Arendahls Wiese,
- after 0.5 km, turn right through Tor 3 of the Kokerei Zollverein.
ARRIVING FROM BOCHUM/DORTMUND (A40):
- Take the freeway A40 toward Duisburg, exit at Essen-Frillendorf,
- after exiting to the right, turn immediately right onto Ernestinenstrasse,
- follow the street until only a right or left-hand turn is possible (a church will be directly in front of you),
- turn right onto the Gelsenkirchener Strasse and follow for approx. 0.3 km,
- turn left onto the street Im Mühlenbruch and follow for approx. 0.8 km,
- turn right at the round-about onto the street Arendahls Wiese,
- after 0.5 km, turn left through Tor 3 of the Kokerei Zollverein. ARRIVING
FROM MÜLHEIM/DUISBURG (A40):
- Take the freeway A40 toward Dortmund, exit at Essen-Frillendorf
- turn left at the light,
- turn right at the first street after the underpass (Ernestinenstrasse),
- follow the street until only a right or left-hand turn is possible (a church will be directly in front of you),
- turn right onto the Gelsenkirchener Strasse and follow for approx. 0.3 km,
- turn left onto the street Im Mühlenbruch and follow for approx. 0.8 km,
- turn right at the round-about onto the street Arendahls Wiese,
- after 0.5 km, turn left through Tor 3 of the Kokerei Zollverein.
ARRIVING FROM KÖLN/DÜSSELDORF (A52):
- Take the freeway A 52 toward Essen until exchange Essen- Ost,
- The A 52 merges onto the A 40 toward Dortmund; keep in the right lane and exit at next exit (Essen- Frillendorf),
- turn left at the light,
- turn right at the first street after the underpass (Ernestinenstrasse),
- follow the street until only a right or left-hand turn is possible (a church will be directly in front of you),
- turn right onto the Gelsenkirchener Strasse and follow for approx. 0.3 km,
- turn left onto the street Im Mühlenbruch and follow for approx. 0.8 km,
