The Erwin L. Hahn Institute was established by a cooperation agreement between the University of Duisburg-Essen and Radboud University of Nijmegen (Netherlands) in 2005. This German-Dutch cooperation continues to be lived actively. Additionally, we closely work together with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the University Hospital of Essen, as well as on the Dutch side with radiology and nuclear medicine at the University Hospital of the Radboud University and the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging in Nijmegen. Other permanent partners are the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, the Ruhr-Univesity Bochum and as a technology partner Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen.
Within the framework of research projects, there have been further collaborations with the following partners since 2016.
