As we regularly receive enquiries, we would like to point out that the Erwin L. Hahn Institute for MRI is not a standard radiology department. Our MRI scanner is used exclusively for scientific research purposes; this means that individuals may only be scanned as part of approved studies.
We do not carry out MRI scans for patients, nor do we provide MRI images to patients!

How to find us
To reach us by car, simply enter the address of the ELH (Kokereiallee 7, 45214 Essen) into your navigation system. The nearest stops for public transport are "Etterbach" (bus stop) or "Essen-Zollverein Nord" (S-Bahn station, approx. 15 minutes walk).
