In 2025, the Erwin L. Hahn Institute for MRI (ELH) once again honours outstanding young scientists for significant scientific work in the field of ultra-high-field magnetic resonance imaging in collaboration with the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Radboud University in Nijmegen or the Ruhr University Bochum.

Who can apply? The award is aimed at young scientists who have completed their dissertation or master's thesis in collaboration with the ELH in the last 12 months.

Application deadline: The application deadline is 28 February 2025 and applications can be submitted immediately. 

Prizes: The award is endowed with €1,500 for dissertations and €500 for theses as part of a master's/master's/diploma or state examination. In addition, the awardees will be invited to briefly present their work at the Erwin L. Hahn Lecture & Workshop 2025.
